Blog for Fair Pay Day

I nearly forgot in my indie rock nerdness to mention this. Today is "Blog for Fair Pay Day" which is an initiative for bloggers to comment on the fact that, on average, women still make considerably less than their male counterparts. This is not acceptable.

As an elementary teacher, I have primarily worked with women and have noticed that this female-dominated profession is vastly underpaid. Take some time to check out the links above and blog a little yourself. Women deserve the same dollar men get...not the 77 cents they currently receive.
